ONRHTS 2002 Winter Convention a Huge Success

Hello all,

We had 23 attendees for the Saturday convention. This included one new member,
one non-member that stopped in briefly. The business meeting discussion was
good. We talked about how we want to continue to cater to all ONR interests.
In some cases, we may be forgetting about the TNO a bit. We talked on keeping
both internet and non-internet members enthused and active. We may see an
upcoming change in the group structure, perhaps with vice-presidents, one for
Technical, one for Historical. This would bring focus to the two area, and
allow for some newsletter articles, events, etc.

Bram's clinics were great. Everyone enjoyed them.

The beer and the food were good as well.

The next day at Copetown, we had many members show up. We signed up 4 new
members and had a few renewals too. Best of all, we celebrated the Americans
winning the silver medal in men's hockey ;-)

Thanks to all that attended, it was great. We are planning to do it again next
year...If I forgot anything fellow attendees, please speak up.

Now on to the summer convention.. which we are looking for help in organizing.
We are thinking North Bay this time... we need volunteers to help coordinate.
